We continually provide clothings, household items, etc to families in need. This most certainly includes special circumstances as well, such as after the March and April 2009 floods and the Feb 2008 tornado that hit Stone County. Also recently, two different families lost everything to fires with small children and donations included beds and a tricyle for the 2 year old.

In the Fall 2008, the special photographic exhibition "Shoes For Mexico" was held at Stone County Library and helped us send over 100 pairs of shoes! And locally, we took a trailer load of clothes to Turrell Elementary School in Turrell, Arkansas.

You can read more on our news page.

If you have used clothing, household items, etc that you wish to donate, to directly benefit the NLA Foundation or any projects the foundation is involved with, you may drop offs items at the log cabin site behind Wilsonís Town and Country on Bayou Drive. We will make arrangements to pick up items as needed if you can phone us ahead of time.

The Foundation is working through logistics to join with the non profit foundation EVERY CHILD IS OURS ( through providing unused clothing to Mexico, South Africa and areas of the United States where need has been identified, which has included New Orleans and Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. We are seeking at least 4 businesses, churches or other local organizations that would be willing to pay the shipping to the designated areas. Each organization would be asked to pay for shipping one time per year with intended shipping dates every three months. If you are interested in this program we are supporting, please contact us.
